A new agreement with the Urban News Network adds another FAST channel to join hundreds already available on FreeCast.
FreeCast and the Urban News Network are announcing a new agreement bringing HIP HOP TV to FreeCast’s growing collection of free streaming channels. The new 24/7 channel will be immediately available to all FreeCast users on the web and in the service’s apps on mobile devices and smart TV platforms.
HIP HOP TV is a center for urban culture, music, and news. The channel features both interview and documentary-style programming along with music videos and performances from the latest DJs, rappers, dancers, and hip-hop artists. This dedicated channel gives new and rising artists an opportunity for national exposure that they might not have with traditional cable or broadcast channels.
FreeCast’s Executive Vice President of Digital Content, Tracy West, discussed the value of the channel. “HIP HOP TV is a fantastic channel for us to partner with: they focus on a popular topic and cater to dedicated audience. Our platform is a powerful tool for these kinds of content providers to reach their targeted niche at low cost. And every new channel we add gives our viewers yet another option, giving them a huge selection to watch at no cost.”
Founder and CEO of Urban News Network, Z-Man, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: "This collaboration is a game-changer, not only for our network but for urban culture enthusiasts worldwide. By joining forces with FreeCast, we can take our content to new heights, making it more accessible than ever before. The entire Hip Hop culture has a new home at HIP HOP TV, now being broadcast on FreeCast's dynamic platform.”
